What To Expect Before/During/After A Project
Before
We have a conversation with all potential clients (you, reading this) over the phone or email to learn about the goals for the project.
Depending on the work and location, we walk the space together to see and confirm the scope of the project.
You receive a written quote for your approval 24-48 hours after the in-person appointment.
The quote will provide a breakdown of tasks and itemize project costs.
The quote includes terms and conditions.
Once approved, you will receive a pre-project email to clarify the following:
insurance paperwork
paint colors/wallpaper specs/carpentry scope
start dates
access to the property
deposit
close-out process.
50% deposit due before or on the day work begins.
During
On the first day, we cover and protect flooring, electronics, and furniture and take photos to document.
For carpentry projects, we take measurements and do mock-ups on the first day.
Prep work such as surface repair, plastering, or sanding is done next.
Priming, painting, installation, and finishing work follows.
Communications with you are open during the entire project.
After
We remove tools, debris, equipment, trash from the project and clean up
You walk through with one of us, or check out everything and call with your impression
Once all is good, we send an invoice for the remaining balance.
Keep in mind, we are human beings. If something looks off or needs a touch-up, just let our foreman or project manager know, and we work with you to correct it.
All work carries a 1-year warranty against flaking or bubbling paint.
