A recent client was intent on crafting a show stopper hallway. It was an amazing, time-consuming project which we embraced enthusiastically. It’s not every day we get to pour our energy and efforts into a space which involves this kind of project. One reason people shy away from gloss of any level is that it can magnify imperfections. Thus, on a job like this, there simply cannot be any flaws.

The walls were sanded and primed to perfection, then color-matched with Benjamin Moore’s Britannia Blue, a timeless rich, royalty-like pigment. Hollandlac, a product in the Fine Paints of Europe collection, offers a high performance, marine quality enamel for refined sheen and depth of color. Each of two coats were meticulously and expertly applied by hand with a brush. Surely, friends stepping into their home feel enveloped in a space reminiscent of fine halls and palaces in Europe. At least, that’s how we felt when the job was finished.
