Brooklyn Painting and Floor Refinishing

Dumbo or DUMBO shares recognition with a movie, a baby elephant with oversized ears and the Brooklyn, N.Y., neighborhood situated Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. This living room is a stunning example of sophistication with a splash of retro decor after we sanded and applied Bona's High Traffic Clear Polyurethane to restore and preserve these awesome Brazilian cherry floors. The kitchen has gone from dull and drab to delightfully dazzling in its new coat of Benjamin Moore's Simply White in semi-gloss - a little sheen that's easy to clean. The residents can enjoy shuffling across the richly-grained, refinished wood floor in their sock feet, and everyone looks and cooks a little better in a bright, white kitchen. They are loving it all.

NYC Kitchen Cabinets Professionally Renovated

We recently connected with a homeowner in the Washington Square neighborhood with a keen eye for creatively brightening the kitchen. Dark cabinets can create the illusion of a small space appearing smaller still, and this gentleman wanted lighter and brighter paired with interesting. Thus, the Chelsea Gray semi-gloss on the lower cabinets was complemented with Pure White on the top ones and the backsplash.

We carefully disassembled the doors to be spray painted off site, while cautiously painting the cabinet structure and backsplash right in place. All the paint products were Benjamin Moore, founded in New York City in 1883 and known for its high quality. The homeowner's vision was achieved, and we were mightily pleased ourselves with the outcome once the doors were transported back and re-installed. It is indeed lighter, brighter and interesting. Mission accomplished.

South Slope Cabinet Painter and Backsplash Replacement

There's no firm definition for South Slope's boundaries in Brooklyn, but Roots Cafe is here with New York-grown coffee beans, and Cafe Steinhof presents a slice of Austria with  Wiener schnitzel, cheese spaetzle and kölsch beer for starters. Some homeowners get involved in the 6/15 Green community garden, and others call in Paintworks to update their kitchen. We immediately embraced their vision of changing out dull wood kitchen cabinets with round knobs on everything for the sleek appeal of soft cream cupboard doors and drawer fronts sporting 3" contemporary hardware and a nice white subway tile backsplash.

The work began with removing old hardware, patching those holes and taking the cabinet doors to our shop where we primed them before applying 5 spray coats of tough enamel paint. Without disturbing our fine workmanship, we drilled new holes and installed the classy new hardware. We took out the backsplash and put in new tiles, then painted the cabinet edges and exposed panels before bringing back the totally new-look doors and drawers. It turned out to be kind of a jaw-dropping renovation, much more compatible with the stainless steel appliances and white counters.

Refreshing your cabinets is a challenging yet fulfilling project. This is especially when you have to fit a slim microwave into one of the cabinet spaces. We were recently tasked with installing custom shelves to make an ultra slim microwave fit. We were able to cut into the wall directly behind, allowing the cabinet to slide further back into the space. Once that was completed we sprayed the cabinets with Benjamin Moore Templeton Gray. Spraying cabinets will give you the smoothest finish. We loved the vibe in this home and enjoyed the whole process.

Kitchen Cabinet Painting Westchester

We had the chance to use the awesome Benjamin Moore color Knoxville Gray and it turned out great! This client went bold and it paid off! Fresh with new cabinet hardware this quick 4 day project brought a complete new energy to their kitchen. After the doors were sprayed with 6 coats and fine grit sanding they were ready to be reinstalled. We then painted the cabinet webbing and frame and put the doors back in. Very grateful to paint such a nice Westchester kitchen.
