Cabinet Painter Manhasset

Making kitchens sexy again is in our skill set, especially when working with homeowners who embrace a vision of sophistication like these folks. They meticulously planned to transform the heart of their home from an outdated dull country theme to an outstanding dynamite contemporary style. Knotty pine, wallpaper and a plaid valance might spell homey rustic in the Adirondacks, but here in Manhasset, it evokes the dullness of yesteryear. After having their old backsplash, countertops, some cabinetry and wallpaper removed, our Paintworks team was called in to paint and resurface all the cabinets.

 Kitchen Cabinets Resurfaced

in Two Colors

The new sleek panel-front cabinets over that spectacular lipstick red stove have been finished with the fresh, bright appeal of white. The lower cupboards, as well as the island base, now wear an elegant coat of Benjamin Moore’s Iron Mountain, a deep charcoal that exudes a timeless quality. When a project turns out with such a handsome design and thoroughly practical function, we are thrilled to have been a part of it. You can be daring and sensible, and this newly renovated kitchen has to be the envy of all in this small hamlet, population under 9,000, on the north shore of Long Island.

Queens Kitchen Renovation

Of the many ways to spruce up a home, kitchen remodeling is one of the premier projects for pure enjoyment, potential energy savings, enhanced lifestyle and increased property value. And diving into the whole enchilada can deliver a much-needed update for the residents, adjoining spaces and food and drink prep in a way nothing else can. We headed into this Queens kitchen with marching orders to gut everything including the kitchen sink. We cleared the space, tore up the flooring and began the prep work for this sharp black and white contemporary kitchen.

Our team put down a classy charcoal color tile floor first, then we installed new white cabinetry with simple brushed nickel knobs. After the fabricator laid the sleek black countertops, we planned, spaced and positioned a stylish subway tile backsplash. The  Paintworks crew wheeled in and hooked up all the appliances, picked up our stuff and admired this newly renovated kitchen. The homeowners are thrilled with the outcome, and while the restaurants in Queens span the globe for tasty culinary selections, these folks might want to dine in using their neat new kitchen.

Manhattan Kitchen Cabinet Update

New homeowners in Manhattan with a keen eye for kitchen design hired us to resurface the kitchen cabinets and add new hardware. They cleverly selected the Sherwin-Williams Anchors Aweigh rich charcoal color for the lower cabinets which contrasts elegantly with Sherwin-Williams Pure White above the counter. Both are semi-gloss for a little sheen that's easy to clean. The white backsplash in a herringbone pattern updates the look, and the eclectic mix of brass and brushed nickel hardware on the cabinets was reinstalled vertically for a more modern visual. We finished up with a big Welcome Home to the happy new owners.

Brooklyn Painting and Floor Refinishing

Dumbo or DUMBO shares recognition with a movie, a baby elephant with oversized ears and the Brooklyn, N.Y., neighborhood situated Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. This living room is a stunning example of sophistication with a splash of retro decor after we sanded and applied Bona's High Traffic Clear Polyurethane to restore and preserve these awesome Brazilian cherry floors. The kitchen has gone from dull and drab to delightfully dazzling in its new coat of Benjamin Moore's Simply White in semi-gloss - a little sheen that's easy to clean. The residents can enjoy shuffling across the richly-grained, refinished wood floor in their sock feet, and everyone looks and cooks a little better in a bright, white kitchen. They are loving it all.

NYC Kitchen Cabinets Professionally Renovated

We recently connected with a homeowner in the Washington Square neighborhood with a keen eye for creatively brightening the kitchen. Dark cabinets can create the illusion of a small space appearing smaller still, and this gentleman wanted lighter and brighter paired with interesting. Thus, the Chelsea Gray semi-gloss on the lower cabinets was complemented with Pure White on the top ones and the backsplash.

We carefully disassembled the doors to be spray painted off site, while cautiously painting the cabinet structure and backsplash right in place. All the paint products were Benjamin Moore, founded in New York City in 1883 and known for its high quality. The homeowner's vision was achieved, and we were mightily pleased ourselves with the outcome once the doors were transported back and re-installed. It is indeed lighter, brighter and interesting. Mission accomplished.
