NYC Loft Painter

The whole fresh start concept covers a lot of ground, and a bright, newly-painted interior can be a great launching pad into a new home in a new place. A couple with their beloved cat were about to make the leap into this Long Island City loft, but first the old dingy appearance had to be updated.

With lots of windows and natural daylight, selecting Benjamin Moore’s Simply White made the most sense for maximum reflection. White also sets the perfect background for bringing in art, fabric and colors that take center stage visually. Long Island City itself presents an energetic stage where trendy eateries and modern arts commingle comfortably with historic industrial vibes, corner parks, waterfront city views, outdoor concerts and intriguing shops.

Brooklyn Historic House Painter

The historic neighborhoods in New York City are loaded with character and architecture that melds old and new, vintage with modern. As one family was preparing to move into a charming house constructed in the late 1800s, they had the foresight to paint ahead of time while spaces were empty. This room sports a stunning original hardwood floor, which would have been common in the new build more than a century ago.

Picture rail molding near ceilings serves many purposes, hanging art from wires among them. It lends an antique style element along with the visual benefit of making the ceiling appear larger. The contemporary, monochromatic strategy of painting the trim and baseboards the same as the walls creates a seamless warmth which can be complemented comfortably with wall decor, fabrics and furnishings. This Sherwin-Williams Niebla Azul is a sophisticated grayish-blue with green undertones. The room evokes dignity and safety, and the neighborhood boasts one of the most iconic parks in the Big Apple. Welcome home.

Colorful Interior Painters

There is general consensus on color having all kinds of emotional impacts on our lives. Bold, bright colors deliver energy, vitality and even power into someone’s cognitive mind. Combine that morsel of info with an exciting, upscale neighborhood like Lenox Hill in the Upper East Side, and you have the perfect combo for an elegant, animated, luxury lifestyle.

This family selected Behr Emergency Zone for the orange. Talk about excitement! This unique blend of primary colors red and yellow delivers large for every season and offers balance, enthusiasm and a flamboyant flair, minus any emergency. The Gentle Sea shade of blue, also a Behr product, in another room carries a bit more calm, but seas connote motion and energy as well. The wall light sconces emit a remarkable splash of luminous ambience. Blue hues promote harmony and confidence, and that’s what we believe will be omnipresent in their new abode.

Power House Condo Painter

It takes a couple super creative minds to transform a power station into fabulous condo living spaces. World-renowned architect Karl Fisher and interior designer Andres Escobar did exactly that in the Hunters Point waterfront neighborhood of Long Island City. The Pennsylvania Railroad Power Station was constructed in 1909 and closed in 1920. It opened as a residential building for luxury lifestyles in the fall of 2007.

We get excited to work inside these historical edifices, like our painting becomes part of history when we freshen the spaces. Here we prepared this lovely unit for new tenants, and we are positive they will love the wood-grain look flooring for its natural vibe, and the smooth, freshly painted walls and white trim. The bedrooms were painted with Benjamin Moore’s First Snowfall, a warm neutral with faint blue-gray undertones. Factor in a white tray ceiling and copious windows for natural daylight, and there’s a unique brand of excitement for living large in a former power station.

Insured Painters in Battery Park

Here we had a couple moving into a new place which had been erratically painted with some matte paint on the walls here and some semi-gloss paint over there. The look could be called sporadic splotchy or mis-matched mystery or peculiar paint pairing. Let’s just say that it didn’t work well in this otherwise sleek, modern, stylish, city abode.

We painted the entire 2-bedroom condo, and the living room is now a very smooth Stonington Gray from Benjamin Moore. This elegant neutral with subtle blue undertones in the right light creates a classy environment complemented with black furnishings and a natural wood credenza. The rug adds earth tones that connect everything into a cohesive space in which to relax, work, play and enjoy the latest episode of a favorite TV series. The new residents are now comfy and cozy and very content.
