UGG Retail Store Painters

Commercially speaking, the front of the house refers to the space where customers browse, dine, drink and buy things. The back of the house includes the kitchen, prep spaces, storage areas, delivery doors, employee breakroom and so on. Most customers do not get to see the back of the house, and when they do and find it clean and orderly, there’s a measure of reassurance that things run fairly smoothly and honestly throughout the business.

This is certainly the case at the new UGG store in a New Jersey mall. It’s not even opened yet, but the management wanted the storage areas painted to be clean and even attractive once their inventory began to arrive. It is well-documented that employees are more productive and more content in bright, neat, well-organized environments. That applies to inventory storage, receiving procedures and all back of the house functions and spaces. UGG not only knows all this, but also they know what we all love in terms of warm and fluffy things, as well as high quality merchandise.

Spraying Whole Foods Entrance Doors

The front door of any business can craft first and repeat impressions in the minds of consumers, and Whole Foods called us in to refresh their entrance with cleaning and painting. Our first order of business was to clean the metal door frame with denatured alcohol so the primer would adhere properly. We taped and protected everything not to be painted, precisely matched their color and sprayed with electrostatic paint after hours so business was not disrupted. Now customers step through clean, painted doors into Whole Foods, whose stated purpose is “to nourish people and the planet. Quality is a state of mind at Whole Foods Market.”

NYC After Hours Commercial Painting

Merchandise in any store is enticing, but equally important to attract customers is the condition of the interior, cleanliness and attention to detail. The first Ann Taylor shop opened in 1954, and today's brands - Ann Taylor, LOFT and Lou & Grey - have a presence in all 50 states. According to anntaylor.com, "we get that a woman expresses herself through what she wears – at work, at home and at play." Along the way, these shop interiors need updating, and that's where Paintworks & Decorating stepped in, after hours, to remove wallpaper, prep and prime walls and then paint. We got the call mid-afternoon and arrived ready to work at 7 p.m. when the store closed. It was evening and night work which makes us come to mind almost anytime a New York City shop needs sprucing up inside, water damage repair, floors refinished or simply new, fresh, clean coats of paint. Among styles that Ann Taylor indicates are trending now are animal prints, faux suede, wine and navy. In the paint contracting arena, Paintworks & Decorating is always trending. The store manager was impressed. The employees did not lose any hours. The customers were not at all inconvenienced. This Ann Taylor store looks a little more sharp with its merchandise surrounded by smooth, sleek, freshly painted walls.

Brooklyn Retail Painting Adidas Logo in Williamsburg

When this property management company called us they were looking to rent out the new commercial space they just built in Williamsburg. They wanted to show Adidas they would be right at home in this Flagship location. We were there the next day to paint the classic Adidas logo on the wall in one day. Impressing both the management and Adidas as they ended up renting the space! Very fun and cool project! Very grateful we had this opportunity.

Painting Storefront for Conan O’Brien New Season Launch Marketing

Talk about springing into action on short notice with a whisker of temperature variance and a very tight deadline - those were the parameters that Paintworks recently dealt with for an exterior retail store paint job for a nationally syndicated television show. Factor in going from a dark color, black in his case, to a lighter color, orange, and the challenges before us were embraced with confidence and courage. We had 24 hours to begin and end the job and were incredibly thankful that temps hovered ever so slightly above 35 degrees so the exterior paint could bond properly.

We were stoked for the opportunity and worked practically around the clock with Benjamin Moore's Aura Exterior Paint. Among its advantages is the low temperature application possibility, along with exceptional color results with Color Lock® technology, superior adhesion properties, fast dry and re-coat times and self-priming capability. We worked diligently and attentively across three coats to get the desired cover-up of the black and strong presence of the orange. Then we stood back, admired our work and went for donuts.
