Brooklyn Commercial Refrigeration Painter

That we eat with our eyes is a well-known cliché which highlights the value of presentation, whether it’s on the plate or in the case at the grocery store. We examine the marbling in ribeye steaks, meat stripes in bacon and fresh color and appearance of hamburger, chicken and pork chops. We may not look beyond this to the shelves and display cases which hold the meats, but surely we would notice peeling paint or rusty metal. And likely, we might then look somewhere else for carnivore vittles.

This meat market in Brooklyn is experienced not only in all things meat-related, but also in the value of sharp, clean, neat showcases for their products. We began the project by removing all the shelving and stripping off the old yellow-greenish failing paint. For superior bonding, most surfaces require a primer product which adheres to the material and prepares an excellent base on which to apply the final paint coat. Some of the work was done in a temporary pop-up paint tent we often use on a job site to contain dust and spray paint particles. Our white primer of choice did its job well, and we finished the shelf units with a glossy ebony black - the ideal, even elegant, background for meat display.

Interior Shop Painting in NYC

“Every bottle’s got a story here” at Pour Wines. On the corner of W. 75th Street and Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, the business is approaching 15 years of its value-driven, intuitive wine mission. The knowledgeable staff curates small production, hand-crafted wines and spirits and understands making wine selection easy and enjoyable ~ and affordable. In its ongoing efforts to maintain a radiant, winsome atmosphere for the casual browser and buyer, they called us to brighten up their space. Overnight, by the way.

With no disruption to customers or employees, our Paintworks team landed after store closing. We began right away protecting all the displays and especially all those bottles, every one of which pairs eloquently with some kind of delicious food offering. And just as many make a wonderful, stand-alone glass. But, this is about paint, not wine, and we confidently believe every paint can has a story, too. We love their color selection, and when the job was done before next day’s opening, we packed up, knowing full well it was too early for wine, so we all admired the fresh paint and inviting, attractive Pour Wines shop.

Industrial Warehouse Painter NY

Industrial warehouses often need to be as clean and orderly as offices and other kinds of work spaces, preserving the contents and improving employee morale. This commercial client rented space which had not been cleaned, painted or maintained for a decade or so. We replaced bulging walls with new sheetrock, taping, plastering and priming it before painting the whole 10,000-square-foot interior. It took us just a few days, ceiling included, and the satisfied customer is now ready to make use of their freshly repaired and painted warehouse.

Brooklyn Retail Painting Adidas Logo in Williamsburg

When this property management company called us they were looking to rent out the new commercial space they just built in Williamsburg. They wanted to show Adidas they would be right at home in this Flagship location. We were there the next day to paint the classic Adidas logo on the wall in one day. Impressing both the management and Adidas as they ended up renting the space! Very fun and cool project! Very grateful we had this opportunity.

NYC Interior and Exterior Commercial Painting: Blue Haven East

If you find yourself in need of comfort food, craft brew, a game of darts and/or fried Twinkies in eastern Manhattan between 11 a.m. and 4 a.m. any day of the week, stroll on over to Blue Haven East. Just a few blocks from the East River at 493 3rd Avenue, this recently opened restaurant offers modern gastropub fare in a very cool setting that includes freshly painted walls by yours truly Paintworks & Decorating. The idea inside was simply something clean, new and smooth for this second Blue Haven eatery. The original Blue Haven is still in downtown Manhattan at 108 W. Houston St.

We also creatively and smoothly applied the dual blue colors on the exterior. These colors include the casual appeal of dusty denim and soft sky blue. The navy blue vertical columns add a touch of formality like the English dish Shepherds Pie and touch of class in the BLTA sammich - A = avocado. That raises the bar on a diner fave. Painting commercial interiors demands professional skills like Paintworks consistently delivers for proper mixing, rolling, brushing, achieving smooth corners and straight lines where ceilings, wood and other materials meet the walls. You come here for the food, drink and socializing. Not particularly noticing the excellent paint job means we did our job perfectly. Kind of like how they do the bacon mac & cheese. Perfectly.
