NYC and NJ Professional Shop Painters

Having cabinet doors painted can offer the kind of cost-effective rejuvenation needed in your kitchen, home office, game room, bathroom, den or anywhere in your home, office or business. The best way to accomplish this potentially challenging project is to call on us. We at Paintworks have a specially designed, constructed and outfitted painting facility. The interior environment is not only controlled for temperature and dust, but also the lighting is intentionally bright to reveal scratches and imperfections. We can fill, fix and sand blemishes so the final finish is smooth and lustrous.

Our team is experienced in removing hardware and cabinet doors, handling them with care and transporting everything to our paint shop. Your adjacent floors, appliances, rooms and furnishings are not subjected to massive cover-ups, except briefly in the case of our painting cabinet support structures and drawer fronts. We return everything, assemble it and leave your place incredibly more attractive than it was. And one other thing ~ we like doing this! The first words you see on our website are:

Painting is our passion.

Making people happy is our mission.

We offer free quotes and work in your timeline, even if it means evenings, overnight or weekends. Let us provide the kind of room revival that professionally painted cabinet doors provide, with or without new hardware. Often old hardware looks new with a different color, and new hardware can change the whole space vibe. That’s your call, after you call us.

Cabinet Painter Manhasset

Making kitchens sexy again is in our skill set, especially when working with homeowners who embrace a vision of sophistication like these folks. They meticulously planned to transform the heart of their home from an outdated dull country theme to an outstanding dynamite contemporary style. Knotty pine, wallpaper and a plaid valance might spell homey rustic in the Adirondacks, but here in Manhasset, it evokes the dullness of yesteryear. After having their old backsplash, countertops, some cabinetry and wallpaper removed, our Paintworks team was called in to paint and resurface all the cabinets.

 Kitchen Cabinets Resurfaced

in Two Colors

The new sleek panel-front cabinets over that spectacular lipstick red stove have been finished with the fresh, bright appeal of white. The lower cupboards, as well as the island base, now wear an elegant coat of Benjamin Moore’s Iron Mountain, a deep charcoal that exudes a timeless quality. When a project turns out with such a handsome design and thoroughly practical function, we are thrilled to have been a part of it. You can be daring and sensible, and this newly renovated kitchen has to be the envy of all in this small hamlet, population under 9,000, on the north shore of Long Island.

Midtown Manhattan Luxury Condo Painting Contractor

Relocating from the Sunshine State to the Big Apple carries enough excitement and emotion without moving into a somewhat outdated luxury condo in midtown Manhattan. This brown entertainment cabinet wall with wonderful storage behind the doors was definitely on the list of archaic things to change. We removed the cupboard doors from the wall and took them off-site to our specially-designed, spray-painting facility. There, we removed all the hardware, and patched the holes never to be noticed again.

We selected Benjamin Moore’s Insul-x Cabinet Coat for its ultra-smooth, factory-like finish. Additionally, the product adheres perfectly to surfaces without a primer. It comes in a satin or semi-gloss finish, and we love its durability, quality and overall attractive appearance. New sleek hardware is barely visible and lends a chic contemporary feel to the whole room. The family added some color for fresh vibes in other places transforming their new condo into their own cozy home.

Residential Cabinet Spraying, Long Island, NY

The nicest family with great kids, a rambunctious dog and a gorgeous kitchen in need of updating before the holidays reached out for cabinet resurfacing, and we were excited to be part of the plan. From old dull brown to exciting fresh White Dove by Benjamin Moore, the Paintworks crew expertly removed the cupboard doors and drawers to spray off-site at our own special shop space designed for these projects. This soft white paint with a hint of gray is extremely popular, especially for kitchens, and the choice of satin texture offers a slight sheen that is easy to clean. Certainly their extended family and friends will be wowed by this new, very light, very bright heart of the home.

Manhattan Kitchen Cabinet Update

New homeowners in Manhattan with a keen eye for kitchen design hired us to resurface the kitchen cabinets and add new hardware. They cleverly selected the Sherwin-Williams Anchors Aweigh rich charcoal color for the lower cabinets which contrasts elegantly with Sherwin-Williams Pure White above the counter. Both are semi-gloss for a little sheen that's easy to clean. The white backsplash in a herringbone pattern updates the look, and the eclectic mix of brass and brushed nickel hardware on the cabinets was reinstalled vertically for a more modern visual. We finished up with a big Welcome Home to the happy new owners.
