NYC Interior Painter

After living in their condo for 2 years this client wanted to refresh the place with new colors, patched holes, to make the place feel new again.

The super of the building recently removed the non-working intercom phone leaving a gapping hole in the living room wall. We were able to completely patch and plaster the hole so you can’t even tell it was there in the first place. After caulking around the windows and plastering the other cracks the place was ready for painting. Using fresh rollers and proper technique we repainted their accent wall to show seamless color. The previous paint job showed major flashings which distracted the eye from the tv the wall was situated on. We painted the bathroom with Benjamin Moore Aura Bath & Spa to ensure longevity in the hot humid environment that is a bathroom. Always grateful to paint beautiful Upper West Side apartments.

Move-In Painting

We love painting home interiors in Long Island City with all the new buildings and the gorgeous views of the Manhattan skyline. We painted this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a few different colors and we really like the finished product's contrast. The top picture is of the living room painted with Benjamin Moore's Gray Owl. The white trim and doors really pop next to the modern gray colored walls. The picture below is of the bathroom wall painted with Benjamin Moore's Hale Navy. The dark blue looks great next to the white tile. Notice the sharp line between wall and ceiling in the bathroom. A clean look that we are proud of.

Upper West Side Manhattan Bathroom Painter

When repainting bathrooms there are multiple factors to consider. After the color choices have been narrowed down it is time to consider the lighting of the bathroom. Is there natural light? What kind of glow are the light bulbs giving off? Warm and yellow? Or cool and white? Once the color samples are held or swatched to the wall in all various types of light and at different times of the day the next factor to consider is the durability of the paint. We always recommend Benjamin Moore Aura Bath and Spa that is specially formulated to withstand the everyday heat and humidity of a bathroom. If the bathroom doesn't feature a shower/tub or a different type of paint is chosen just be sure that the room can be ventilated properly so that no bubbles in the paint form. We recently repainted a hallway half bathroom in a brand new building in the Upper West Side. The client chose a striking Farrow & Ball paint color that contrasts very well with the ceiling and the mirror wall. We have been painting apartment bathrooms in NYC for over 25 years but this is one of our favorites because of the modern distinguished look and feel of the space.
