Upper West Side Manhattan Bathroom Painter

When repainting bathrooms there are multiple factors to consider. After the color choices have been narrowed down it is time to consider the lighting of the bathroom. Is there natural light? What kind of glow are the light bulbs giving off? Warm and yellow? Or cool and white? Once the color samples are held or swatched to the wall in all various types of light and at different times of the day the next factor to consider is the durability of the paint. We always recommend Benjamin Moore Aura Bath and Spa that is specially formulated to withstand the everyday heat and humidity of a bathroom. If the bathroom doesn't feature a shower/tub or a different type of paint is chosen just be sure that the room can be ventilated properly so that no bubbles in the paint form. We recently repainted a hallway half bathroom in a brand new building in the Upper West Side. The client chose a striking Farrow & Ball paint color that contrasts very well with the ceiling and the mirror wall. We have been painting apartment bathrooms in NYC for over 25 years but this is one of our favorites because of the modern distinguished look and feel of the space. Brooklyn HVAC Furnace Cover Painter

Everyone in NYC knows how important furnaces are to making the winters bearable but why do they always look so clunky and unattractive? No matter the age or model of your HVAC system we can make it look beautiful while making it virtually disappear into the wall. That is what we did last month when we repainted an entire apartment in the Greenpoint area of Brooklyn. The client chose a clean distinguished matte black color for the walls. In order to get the giant furnace covers to blend in we first needed to ensure that this shade of black was going to bond with the metal of the cover. We used an electrostatic sprayer that utilizes electrically charged particles to ensure that the paint bonded to the covers with a complete and even coating. At the end of the day it took 5 coats of paint to get the furnace to look like what you see below. The covers were a little bit of challenge but that made it fun and the beautiful finished product worth it!

Now the furnace cover blends in perfectly with the black matte paint job.

NYC Commercial Painter: Epoxy Painted Walls

Manhattan Commercial Painting

When an upper west side waxing facility asked us for suggestions for repainting their walls we wanted to give them something that would look good and provide durability. With many employees and customers walking through the hall on a daily basis we had epoxy solids added to the paint to make the walls easy to clean and expand the lifetime of the paint job. The finished product looks silky smooth just like the clients when they leave this facility. The epoxy helps protect the walls without sacrificing the integrity of the color.

Manhattan Wall Stripe Painter

New York City is a mecca for style and fashion. The unique style of the city is not limited to just garments and art but also goes for home decorating. There are endless options when painting the interior of a home. With an NYC apartment don't let the size of the space limit the possibilities of the look and feel you can achieve through painting. One way to add a unique touch to a wall is to add decorative stripes. We're not talking about cheesy looking candy cane stripes but professional beautiful stripes that give a feel of elegance. When looking for a spark for their entryway, this homeowner chose beautiful metallic pearl vertical stripes. Unless you're an abstract artist, even spacing and even stripe width have the most importance when painting vertical lines on a wall. The striped walls now make anyone walking through the front door feel like they're walking into a high end 5th avenue store!

Ditmas Park New Home Painter

Buying a home is a big deal. The moment you step foot into that new home with the new keys in your hand is a moment of surreal excitement you will never forget. You also want that feeling to last as long as possible. One way to make it last is with a fresh coat of new paint.

We've painted many homes in Brooklyn but it was an honor to paint an apartment for the nicest couple in Ditmas Park. Located in a beautiful neighborhood just south of Prospect Park, the new homeowners loved their new home but it was missing something. Shortly after closing on the place they realized it was missing a beautiful fresh coat of paint to match the fresh start of owning a home. They chose Benjamin Moore's Super White paint to brighten up an apartment that recently had gorgeous renovations completed. The Super White made the entire place look and feel refreshed while showing just how big this apartment really is!

Repainting the interior of this Brooklyn home also gave us time the chance to fix any drywall imperfections. Clean lines makes the refreshed space stand out against the hardwood floors.
