Painting Custom Cabinets in New Jersey

When this client bought their new home they decided to gut renovate the kitchen. They had gorgeous custom millwork cabinets made. The cabinets were beautiful but they needed to be painted to really take them to the next level.

It is a privilege to be entrusted with spraying these high end cabinet doors, drawer fronts and all the trim on the finely-crafted cabinetry. This job required 6 coats of lacquer, allowing it to dry completely before sanding for smoothness and enhanced adherence of the next coat. The owner chose Simply White in Satin finish for that fresh, classic appeal that crosses comfortably into a cottage style, sleek contemporary atmosphere or transitional presence. All the professional painters at Paintworks are trained and experienced in the particulars of cabinet renovation with the goal of exceeding customer expectations as well as protecting the indoor environment.

Kitchen renovation is one of those home improvement projects that reaps dividends not only with homeowner enjoyment, but also return on investment (ROI). It is a wonderful, affordable way to take your kitchen from mundane to marvelous and keep your bank account with a positive balance.

Interior Apartment Painting in Jersey City

When the renters asked the apartment owner to paint a few walls the owner didn’t mind at all. Flash forward 3 years later as the renters prepare to move out and the apartment has pink and purple walls in the living room and a yellow bathroom! The owner was a little thrown off. Luckily with quality paint and skills we were about to cover all the bright colors giving the apartment a new refreshed look as the realtor prepared to put the property back on the market. We were in and out in 1 day giving very little downtime for the owner to find a new renter and not miss on much rental income. We love whitewashing properties, move out and move in painting all over Jersey City and are grateful to help this owner.

NJ Interior Home Painting

This client was moving back to Jersey City from another state and wanted to make this space feel like theirs before moving in. They chose a bold and powerful blue accent wall, unfortunately our pictures turned out poorly. Trust us the apartment turned out great. We carefully removed 2 mirrors without breaking any glass and causing any bad luck! The rest of the apartment was painted with an interior designer favorite Benjamin Moore White matte. We noticed that the window sill in the living room was looking swollen like there is a small leak in the window frame. We immediately re-caulked around the windowsill with elastomeric caulking to prevent further damage. We’re always grateful to be a go-to apartment painter in Jersey City.

Liberty National Golf Performance Center Painter.jpg

Earlier this year we had the amazing opportunity to paint the performance center at the prestigious Liberty National Golf course. A gorgeous course, Liberty National hosted the 2017 President's Cup. The performance center is a learning facility that houses top of the line technology to helps golfers improve their swing.

The center originally had idea paint on the walls. Idea paint allows for dry erase writing which at one point was very useful for the center but as they moved to more computer based tracking it became time to repaint the walls. The first step was to sand off the old idea paint so the new coats of paint would bond properly to the wall. Once that was done, we caulked any gaps, plastered any damage caused by wild golf balls and then primed the walls and ceilings. Liberty National chose 2 beautiful gray colors with a white stripe in the middle. We painted the lower half of the wall with Benjamin Moore Scuff X to help withstand scuff marks and stray golf balls. After we painted the ceilings white and the walls gray we used a self leveling laser to tape off the lines for the middle white stripe. We wanted a strong white to give contrast to the room so we used Benjamin Moore Aura Matte. We love how the colors turned out. The finished product looks very clean and professional. It was a fun project as well. Painting 20 foot high ceilings was quite the challenge!
