15 Broad Street Interior Painting Company

Wall Street was named in 1711 for a long-gone wall built by Dutch settlers to keep out the pirates and the Brits. Though it is only six blocks long, the surrounding streets house some of the largest, most reputable financial entities in the world. Broad Street runs between Wall St. and Exchange Place. The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) was constituted in 1817. Fast forward 204 years, and the new owners of a beautiful condo across the street from NYSE wanted to brighten their interior walls. We love the vitality and pizzazz found in this part of Manhattan and eagerly loaded up our floor protection materials, paint, tape, brushes, scrapers, rollers, ladders and all we would need for the project.

You might read that “kids say the darndest things,” but hey, adults “do the darndest things.” In this delightful condo, someone had wallpapered the ceilings. We set about removing that, which is easier said than done, working kind of upside down, peeling, scraping, sanding and smoothing prior to priming and painting. The walls have been transformed from dark and dull to bright and beautiful with the popular White Dove paint selection. And the new owners are happy in their pleasant, newly painted home.

High Rise Manhattan Home Painting

NOMAD or NoMad denotes “North of Madison Square Park,” while literally it means “a member of a people with no fixed residence who move from place to place, often seasonally.” So, here we have a couple purchasing this amazing high-rise condo in NoMad who are not nomads. If anything, they are nesters who wanted their new home freshly painted. While bald eagles, known for their high, large nests, are also not especially nomadic for returning to their nests each year, these aeries are found only 50 to 125 feet off the ground. This stunning property on the 37th floor is around 518 feet high, using 14 feet per story measurement.

It’s a challenge to stay focused with views like this, but we did it. We put down recycled brown paper to protect the floors and went to work patching and spackling so each coat of paint would be perfect. The living room sports Benjamin Moore’s Simply White, and the blue hue is named White Satin for its gentle undertones of a pale sky. “Evoking the shimmering beauty of a dragonfly's wings, this deep shade of blue-green is playful and full of energy,” so states the benjaminmoore.com website regarding this rich greenish-blue color. What a place to call home, a fixed residence that redefines a room with a view.

Painting Company for New Brooklyn Homeowners

Moving is exciting, filled with the anticipation of creating a new home nest. And the best time to mend wall, floor and ceiling damage and add your own color scheme is before the first piece of furniture crosses the threshold. One couple who recently purchased a home in a Flatbush Co-op in Brooklyn recognized that and acted on it – calling on us to make it happen. There’s paperwork, repair work and prep work involved, and we are experienced in helping new homeowners navigate the process.

Their vision included smooth walls in lighter colors with a charming dusty rose upon entering, complemented with a pale neutral living room and rich hunter green in a study space. An odd gold part-wall, dull living room wall and old dark blue in the bedroom did not harmonize one iota with their dream of brighter walls to showcase their interior décor and the handsome wood floors. Covering dark colors can be a challenge, but we know precisely how to smooth and coat dingy, aged walls with premium primers and interior paint. By the time we were finished completely sprucing up this place, we kind of wanted to move in.

NoHo Interior Painters

Washington Square Park enjoys a dramatic, storied history across five centuries. Once residential neighborhoods were constructed on three sides of the relatively small, but highly prized, 10-acre park, people from all walks of life craved living here. Less than a decade ago, park renovation included a new playground, small dog run, chess plaza, landscaping upgrades, new benches and lighting and repaved pathways. One couple contacted us for an entire condo painting assignment before merging their lives into the space.

The duplex interior sports a contemporary industrial feel, tempered with warm dark floors and newly painted, crisp white trim and walls. Of the updates to a living space, new paint trumps them all for the volume of surface it embraces and the mood it can project. Painting these walls came easy enough, with our constant attention to detail, but tackling the very tall stairwell was a bit more tricky. We were able to professionally finish everything, no matter the height, width or adjacent trim, windows, doors and floors. And now, there are two more satisfied Paintworks customers in the Big Apple, settling into their freshly painted abode.

Home Painter in Milburn

Paper Mill Playhouse, the State Theatre of New Jersey, was established in 1938 in the township of  Millburn. Mustard, which has been around for thousands of years, is one of the all-time great condiments for hotdogs and ham sandwiches. But living among mustard-colored walls did not suit this Millburn homeowner’s idea of desirable room paint. While colors move in and out of favor and trend, the neutral palette never goes out of style. And the achromatic color of gray, in the space between white and black, carries many connotations and a lot of power.

Gray exudes modesty, safety and reliability. There’s an emotional tone of maturity – think gray hair, of course – and dignity. With exquisite white trim like in this room, the contrast offers elegance and grace. As a relaxed color with a subtle hint of pewter and silver, it automatically exhibits a sophisticated soothing ambience.

 Exquisite Trim Painters

Protecting the floor was job one, and covering the dull venetian gold with this feathery shade of gray made the job fun and exciting. One of the great benefits of being painters is experiencing the mood and ambiance transformations in a space as the job unfolds. Besides holding to the highest standards for painting and renovation work, our team is sensitive to the vibes of a newly painted room. We felt really good about this project with this lovely, intricate trim and color choice of the homeowners. Their satisfaction with our work makes it a win-win all around.
