Painting Floors In Williamsburg Condo

Having beautiful floors is a must. Especially in a nice Apartment space in Brooklyn. We wanted to make sure that anyone who enters this place is quickly impressed. Floor painting takes a lot but there’s nothing we can’t handle. This floor was originally gray, and we applied two coats of primer, two coats of super white floor paint and then three coats of Bona high traffic clear. Remember that floor painting does take some time to dry. Especially when it’s a Bona high traffic clear which can take up to 6-8 hours to and another, three days or more to fully cure.

Bay Ridge Exterior Metal Fence Painter

The Bay Ridge neighborhood, tucked into the southwest corner of Brooklyn, hugs the Upper Bay of the Hudson River. Known for great schools, views, architecture and parks, property owners and managers take great care of the buildings and environment. Besides being functional, an attractive fence enhances a property’s appeal much like a frame does for a print or painting. This metal fencing had weathered many a storm, and peeling paint and rust inevitably set in. Besides being an eyesore, any deterioration in metal’s protective coatings can compromise the strength and integrity of the material.

The first task was scraping off rust and remnants of old coatings. Once clean, we applied a rust converter primer for metal protection and to assure a strong bond with paint. Two coats of paint with UV resistant quality were added both for appearance and durability. Special care was taken not to get any primer or paint on the sidewalks or the building, and we totally think this is like the proverbial icing on the cake for this blond brick building.

Exterior Home Painter New York City

When the weather is amazing there is no better project than painting the outside of a house. This house in Brooklyn hadn’t been painted in over 30 years and paint had started to fail off in bunches. We started by stripping all the failing paint areas as power washing would’ve damaged the house siding. Using a boom lift we were able to reach all areas of the house and paint with precision. The client chose a bold color that looks makes the house look completely new! We love the direction they chose and were very happy to help them. The finished product made the client literally say “Wow!” Very grateful to be an exterior painter in the Park Slope and Prospect Park area.

Brooklyn Retail Painting Adidas Logo in Williamsburg

When this property management company called us they were looking to rent out the new commercial space they just built in Williamsburg. They wanted to show Adidas they would be right at home in this Flagship location. We were there the next day to paint the classic Adidas logo on the wall in one day. Impressing both the management and Adidas as they ended up renting the space! Very fun and cool project! Very grateful we had this opportunity.

Painting Building Stairwell in Prospect Heights

While Brooklyn is the most populous of New York City's boroughs, it also offers many parks and points of interest which draw a vivid cross section of families, retired folks, internationals and working professionals of all stripes. It is a Mecca for artsy types. With all this going for it, it's no surprise to us at Paintworks that savvy property owners and management agents take seriously the paint-related maintenance of apartment buildings.

We recently painted the stairwell and hallways of a 3-story Brooklyn apartment building, which is sure to keep residents and tenants happy for having clean spaces to walk in on the way to their front doors. For this job, a semi-gloss paint was selected for being easy to wash, yet not have the glare of a full gloss paint. The semi-gloss will still reflect light, making the corridors and stairwell seem brighter and more pleasant. Semi-gloss paint also resists fading and humidity a little bit better than other choices. Addressing routine maintenance issues in a timely fashion makes good business sense, and keeping interior common walls fresh and clean contributes positively to low vacancy rates, good-natured residents and a favorable reputation for the building.
