In the process of painting the the entire interior of their Manhattan apartment we noticed how large and dark the radiator covers were in the bedroom and living room. We took the front panels off and sprayed them with an HVLP spray machine. We then careful masked around the floor and windows before spraying the built in pieces. The difference is drastic and really helped bring the room together. It was an important detail in the grand scheme. The room feels more modern now and the client is happy!

For this job, a semi-gloss paint was selected for being easy to wash, yet not have the glare of a full gloss paint. The semi-gloss will still reflect light, making the corridors and stairwell seem brighter and more pleasant. Semi-gloss paint also resists fading and humidity a little bit better than other choices. In effort to sell this property in a timely fashion Halstead Realty and the owners decided to freshen up the place with a paint job so the property would show better. The NYC apartment hadn’t been painted in over 20 years and it showed. One day of intense plastering and painting got the condo back to near mint condition. The client chose Benjamin Moore Decorator’s White which works perfectly with the condo’s large living room windows. We always use Benjamin Moore Aura Bath and Spa in the bathroom to help protect the walls and ceiling from heat and humidity.
