When this client contacted us they just purchased beautiful apartment in the Upper East Side. They were moving back into Manhattan after spending a few years in Nassau County. They were excited to be back in the Big City and looking to create an apartment that matched this excitement. The apartment needed a lot of work. Luckily the owners has an amazing eye for detail and design and was not afraid to go bold. The crowning touch was his choice of black for new crown molding and the ceiling. Talk about interior elegance! Black has always been associated with strength and power with splashes of mystique and rebellion.

The vacant rectangular room had an awesome rustic clay brick floor-to-ceiling wall and fireplace, dull floors, 2 vertical windows and common white walls in need of a good paint job. The ceiling met the wall in undecorated 90-degree angles. Embedding crown molding into this unadorned space instantly enhanced the room. Sanding and refinishing the floors brought luster and sheen back to them. We then skim coated the walls for an even texture and to make it possible to install crown molding. Once the crown molding was installed we moved to painting. We expertly painted both the ceiling and the new crown molding in jet black. Adding gold drapes and a charcoal gray sofa created a uniquely gracious space which evokes a cozy tranquility amidst the dazzling excitement of city life. New homeowners in Manhattan's Upper East Side recently contracted with locally-owned Paintworks & Decorating to color their new crib. One room especially evokes an eyebrow-lifting wow factor for its monochromatic blue theme. The walls, trim and doors are all smoothly coated with a brave medium dusky blue that tinges the horizon just before sunrise or sunset begins to glow. The space evokes the warmth of your favorite blue jeans coupled with a sense of adventure like riding waves at Rockaway Beach or bouldering in Central Park.

 As daylight changes, lighting alters color, and what looks one way under fluorescent lighting can appear darker, lighter or more yellow or red near large windows. Painting A Condo Near Prospect Park

When this family called us they were looking to refresh their condo before doing some redecorating. With young children in the household the walls of the entryway were showing wear and tear. Lots of scuff marks and dirt/oil build up on the walls from constant touching and activity. We painted the entire Prospect Heights apartment, making it look new again. We painted the entryway walls with Benjamin Moore Scuff-X to help protect the walls. With the abundance of natural light in the living room, the Benjamin Moore Aura Super White looks great and super clean. We love painting homes in Prospect Heights. Exterior House Painter NYC

When this homeowner called us she was looking to refresh the exterior of the home for the new renters. The house hadn't had it's stucco exterior painted in over 12 years and it was started to show. The bottom picture shows before we got started. You can see the failing paint around all the windows, the accumulation of dirt is also visible. Our first step was to rent a boom lift that would allow us to reach all corners of this house. We spent the first day power washing the entire stucco exterior. The next day was devoted to more preparation as we scraped the failing paint, plastered any holes/cracks and caulked around all windows. Once was that was completed we masked off the areas that were not to be painted. We then used professional spray machines to paint the exterior stucco walls. After spraying the stucco was completed we hand painted all window frames and shutters. The client picked a boldly beautiful red to contrast the white house. The client was in awe when she saw the finished project. It looks like an entirely new exterior to her house. Very grateful to be a part of this exterior transformation.
